Up late today..

...and breakfast was accompanied by Bryan Ferry, with an EP from last year which I only stumbled across the other day...

...and Anne...

...and Fang...

Anne was soon off out to the hairdressers while Fang exited shortly thereafter...

After reading an excellent interview with Steve Howe, including insights into why Yes does and must continue to make new music, I noted that, as per recent listening, we still have Jon Anderson too but, for me, it’s the band that is moving forward into the future. If only they’d feature more of it live…

And so, I decided to spend a couple of hours with the shortest track from each of these 25 releases - including then new material from the "35 Years" comp, a piece from the "From A Page" EP and the single from the forthcoming new LP...

On Anne's return, outside was looking good but I was inside, for now...

Season Two of "Designated Survivor" plus home made soup constituted lunchtime...

Then, Anne was off out again, this time taking her mum to her hairdresser's appointment...

Spent some time with today's new music (see below) which included creating a digital version of last years 3CD comp from Kansas...

I also found a fourth in his ongoing series (since 2015) of amazing musician/one man band Antoine Baril's take on the music of Emerson Lake and Palmer...

The video shows

A triumphant performance indeed and well worth 25 minutes of your time!

Added it to my collection of his work, which, prior to today, comprised his medleys of Rush music, Genesis music and Yes music...

What a guy!

Anne and Mary returned post this, for an unpictured chocolate éclair...

Yum...

Then some soul searching re potential joiners to undertake the "New Kitchen Project"...

Aaargh!!

This evening, back to the football...

Last week's triumphant performance faded as I failed to put a way a couple of sitters and also let in at least a couple of stupid goals (although I also made at least five saves of certain goals)...

My team lost 8-5 in the end...

So, had I performed better, we might well have won...

Not to worry...

Back home, soup and a sandwich for tea followed by the next 2 "Designated Survivors" and, all of a sudden, it was midnight...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Playing football but not very well...

Today's new music:-
