Up super late at 8:15...

The final bowl of old muesli for breakfast...

Fang popped in...

Then, more sorting out of 1963 and getting this up to date while Anne was out at Zumba...

At lunchtime, I tried a new thing...

Very tasty but a bit of a garlicky aftertaste...

It comes with the recipe so I might try making it myself while leaving the garlic to one side...

Three episodes of  "The Black List" before heading upstairs and listening to CDs purchased on our last visit to Potsdam from Die Bücherfundgrube...

...while perusing the two art books picked up at the same shop...

It might well be my favourite shop in the entire world but, of course, as it's in Potsdam, I can only visit once every few years, if that, and can never buy everything I want, as it would be impossible to carry it all home...

Anne is off to Berlin in June with Lynn for their belated 60th birthday trip - postponed re the pandemic...

I have advised if they go to Potsdam, they need to visit Die Bücherfundgrube and buy me at least one CD and one art book...

Let's see what happens...

Post home made soup and veggie haggis & mash for tea, Fang trotted out the frontdoor and we drove over to Jane's, meeting guest dog, Monty...

...whose company Rafa seems to enjoy...

We were off to Tynecastle for the game between Hearts and Aberdeen...

A spare ticket was afforded to me by Bob and Olly being at hospitality...

A few seconds after this pic, it was 1-0 to Hearts with just a few minutes on the clock, thanks to a complete botch up and own goal...

A quite magnificent goal from Michael Smith made it two - a long ball from Sibbick from just outside his penalty area, was brought down with Smith's right foot and, a couple of bounces of the ball later, it was expertly blootered into the net with his left...

It really wasn't Aberdeen's night - a third goal followed re a harsh VAR decision leading to a penalty which Shankland expertly finished...

Just before half time another top move from the home team saw Ginelli slot another one home from the near post to make it four...

Early in the second half the tenacity of Devlin paid off as he beat several Aberdeen defenders to drive the ball home from the edge of the box...

Here, Aberdeen await the restart as every Hearts player bar the goalie celebrates down in the corner...

The final blow for the Dons was to have a very good indeed consolation goal in the 90th minute, chalked off for offside, following another VAR check...

All over...

Jubilation for the Hearts fans...

A walk back to Jane's and a drive home...

Aberdeen were certainly nowhere near as bad as the pundits were suggesting re the highlights programme watched on our return...

Hearts were strong but the main difference amounted to three pieces of magic from the JTs, a VAR penalty and a scrambled own goal - that and the Dons' inability to actually create any meaningful chances in front of goal and, hen they finally did, having it ruled out by VAR...

That's football...

One more "Black List" ended the day...

Highlight of the Day : 5-0 Hearts...

Today's new music:-
