Up early and a great big Happy Birthday today to the Exec Producer...

22 years ago today, we were in Seville and now, we were going back...

But, first, there were still things to do...

Views...

...including an unpictured breakfast...

...and my LPS of the day so far, four weeks into 2023 already...

At 10:30, with everything packed, we realised we still had time to start Season 4 of "The Black List" and start it we did...

At 11:25, out...

...and down the hill for the bus...

...to the airport and swiftly through security with no issues...

Lunch just after 12 -  a tasty treat at Bar Burrito...

...followed by some sitting about...

The EP would not allow me to play the airport piano, which sat right in front of me, ready for some CBQing...

...then these siblings came along, quite qualmless...

The younger’s efforts were like a Lachenmann sonata...

The view from the office this afternoon...

We boarded on time and took off on time...

The three hour journey was soundtracked by Fucked Up, Frederico Albanese, Alice Cooper, H C McEntire, Lo.Flynn, BRUIT, Uriah Heep, Udo Lindenberg, Fehlfarben and Haken...

The views...

We landed on schedule at 6:30pm, Spanish time...

Through passport control and out for the airport bus, by which time, it was dark...

Alighted at San Bernardo and, then, a reasonable walk to Calle Santiago ensued...

...to the apartment...

Delightful Brunetti symphonies soundtracked the unpack...

Very nice indeed...

And out - it was, after all, Anne's birthday...

We are living in a secluded and gated courtyard behind high walls - it is very quiet indeed - just the way we like it - and no one above us, so no prospect of annoying clomping in the night...

Yes, so, out...

...and a walk to the Alfalfa district...

...where we found La Bodega

...where beers...

...and Tapas were enjoyed by the birthday girl and her beast...

Out for further walking about...

We found "The Mushroom Thing"...

...which is on the big list of places to visit while here...

...and, post a further jambon sandwich for your correspondent, we walked past the now packed Bodega again...

Some basic provision shopping at a nearby Carrefour and then back home for more beers and some marking on the streetmap by Annie of said places we will look to visit in the coming days...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : A return to Seville...
