Up just after six and looking back through the blog and photographs led me to start the day playing some old stuff...

I was trying to find where I got the cardboard boxes from, re the redesign of the back room a couple of years ago...

I was also downloading a "shitload" of music (see below), including loads of new to me classical stuff, which, of course meant that the podcast would move back to 2 hours (could've been four or five if I'd included everything new)...

Two of the new things in were collections of 16th Century Viol Music for the Richest Man in the World. I had to find out about the man to whom these referred. He absolutely changed the world and affected the course of history.  Especially that of Ireland, if you see what I mean...

It was Herr Jakob Fugger - find out here...

The richest man who ever lived...

Apparently...

Meanwhile, Fang popped by...

Then, a visit to the place I go to lose and, indeed, I did...

Which was good...

Back home to unwelcome parking...

Not to worry...

Breakfast and then back to work, as Anne was already off at Zumba, coffee and cake with Lynn and Lynn's sister, Sheila, followed by Anne's mum's...

Meanwhile...

The wee man!

I read through the whole of July 2020 which was when the changeover took place in the back room and was able to find the source of the boxes for an interested party...

As regards soundtracking, one track each from the new things took me to almost 1pm and Anne's return, at which point lunch as enjoyed, as were a couple of "The Black List" - no wait, "Father Brown"...

Then, we booked flights to Nantes for a wee trip later this year...

Towards the close of the afternoon, we then had a "Black List" and then early baked potatoes, as Anne was off out to watch Hearts beat St Mirren 1-0 in the league, on a cold Friday night at Tynecastle...

This, the scene in the living room, as I was upstairs compiling, recording the links and then recording itself, the podcast...

After getting the first hour in the can, I watched episode one of the new "Lord of the Rings" thing that's been on Prime now for a while...

It's end coincided with Anne's triumphant return...

We fired up another couple of "Black List", taking us to the end of the first season's 22 episodes - we noted that, of the 10 seasons, 1-5 are available via Prime's subscription but we will have to pay for 6-8 and 9 and 10 are nowhere to be seen...

Oh well...

We still have around 100 episodes to go before we come to those bridges...

Today, I also posted up my Top 5 for 1983...

To bed...

Highlight of the Day : Another trip booked...

Today's new music:-
