Friday!

That demands exclamation marks!!

Up late...

...and finishing off the listen which commenced last night to the final CBQ LP of 2021, "Twentytwentyone"...

Outside, the light coming in...

Inside, doing something or other with my back catalogue on Bandcamp and downloading new music - as is the way on a Friday...

My dad's birthday today - he would have been 92, had he not died when he was just 73 - seemed old then but, given I'm almost 63, not so old now...

A funny, funny man - much missed...

WFH but entertained by the frisky squirrels...

Coffee - in the rescued from the back of the cupboard Documenta (13) mug...

This is from our visit to the Kassel Art Exhibition ten years ago now, as Documenta 15 will take place this year from June 18 to September 25 - we hope to attend...

Correspondence with old chum Ian Sclater re his recent purchase of a recording machine like mine, with a view to, erm, recording...

He needs some tuition, which I have offered...

Some pics illustrating things he may need, sent to him...

In the afternoon, a visit from Fang...

And, in the evening, a superb chili from the Exec Producer...

...enjoyed with some end of the week red wine...

No podcast to record, under the new regime, and so a relaxing Friday night ensued, mainly watching the telly, with "Death in Paradise" maintaining its reputation as a January Friday evening highlight...

But not highlight of the day....

Highlight of the Day : Anne's chili...
