This evening, after being away for 92 weeks due to, firstly, breaking my toe and then the pandemic, I returned to 5-a-sides...
Most of the boys could have been my children or even grandchildren...

I could still stand but my team was thrashed 14-8...
To be fair though, there was no rhyme nor reason re team selection, which should always, if possible, be done by pairing off people of similar ability, for provision of some modicum of balance...
My legs hurt later on...
But that is a price worth paying for still being able to kick a ball around at just over 62 and a half...
The soundtrack today was me working again on listening to over 50 tracks, all told, which appear not to have been released anywhere else so far this year and so are eligible for an end of year compilation...
Some TV too, this evening, but I'm now five nights beyond where this sits in the diary and so cannot recall what....
No doubt, though, it was good...
