Ok - nearly two weeks ago - what was I up to?

Well, from the playlist, I was listening to the music I've complied re the latest "name your five favourite LPs from this year" thing on the Twitter...

2008...

And, from the pics, I was up at 6:25 on this Wednesday morning...

A pic of Meg the Pretend Cat...

...and of the picture behind her, Anne's of St Bartholoma on the Konigssee....

The room awaited...

...and the skies were overcast...

I managed to collate a further 30 LPS over the 100 published on Monday -but still set about whittling them to 80...

Toast for breakfast...

...with marmalade...

I worked from home for the day...

I prepped a new song sheet for Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" in preparation for tonight's session with Capital Models...

...and a tasty wee EP by a TwitterChum (Chris Mountford) arrived in the post - I'd forgotten I'd bought this, so it was a nice surprise...

Out to Roslin, just after six, having popped in briefly on my mum on the way...

She enjoyed the surprise...

We started around 6:45 - everyone looking enthusiastic...

Johnny...

Paulus...

Stuarto...

Keithbeard...

..and the beast...

I'd set us the task of playing 44 songs tonight - four eleven song sets, each lasting (if we had no gaps) around 35-40 minutes...

End of set one...

End of set three, we took a wee break...

Moira somehow managed to concentrate at her computer as we pressed on...

...and Chloe supported her dad as he became more and more tired, the task taking its toll most, of course, on the drummer...

But, in the end we made it through...

...with very few cock ups and not too that much later than my predicted stop time...

However, none of the others ever wanted to do this again...

A good exercise...

Packed up and home for some telly and listening back...

Highlight of the Day : Playing...
