Sunday - Crispy's birthday...

Opened the day with the new thing I've been working on, now called "Coldclear"...

And listening to new stuff...

...while the computer played silly buggers...

Still not quite up yet, the sun...

A fly was also waiting...

To work - decided to use the opening 5 mins or so of each of the eight tracks to create a reasonably short ambient LP...

Out for the shopping and home for breakfast and more work and then out to Loanhead but for a wee walk before visiting my mum...

We made our way down into Polton Woods...

...a place where I used to play with my friends when I was a wee boy..

We took the turn for Maiden Castle... 

...this reminds me of one of the pictures on the inner sleeve of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here"...

We did not reach the remains of the castle but did enjoy some more good views...

...before making our way back to the car...

...and back up the hill to my mum's - here. her biscuit supply...

We set up a Facetime call with chums Lex and Moira over in Bearsden which was much enjoyed - later tonight they were off to Rothsay on the Isle of Bute - the place where our two families first met back in the early 60's...

Back home to the bees...

...and a tasty tea form the EP...

I suspect an episode or two of "Lupin" was enjoyed...

Someone on Twitter was playing this very Tubes 12" (or, rather, another copy of it), after I retweeted a vid of them on the Old Grey Whistle Test - a highlight of 1977...

Then, the sun went down...

...om another weekend...

Oh well...
