Up and inspecting yesterday's haul...

The view from the office this morning...

A coffee while I waited for the boys to surface - I'd found Olly on the settee first thing (around 6) but now he'd gone back to bed...

We vacated the apartment just before 10...

...and walked through the wind and rain to the Northern Quarter for breakfast at Teacup Kitchen, apparently owned by DJ Mr Scruff and his manager...

This is not them...

One of these two characters is the worse for wear...

That was soon sorted by tasty breakfasts...

...before a walk around - I returned to Vinyl Exchange for a further four purchases and to Fopp (no purchases) while Bob and Olly attended Selfridges...

We met up to visit a book shop run by a man who seemed to have two plastic hands...

Again no enticements...

We spotted these...

...people hanging onto a building...

...before heading back towards the station...

...stopping off at Eastern Bloc for coffee/hot chocolate and cake (or beer and no cake if you were Bob)...

The beast was about its business...

Another good bookshop was also visited and a present purchased for the EP...

Two boxes of banging tunes for 50p each from a charity shop next to the station, outside of which was this good sculpture...

...before we headed to the airport...

...for a long wait...

Finally boarded...

Thumbs up from the boy...

...seat hopping from his dad...

An uneventful flight - virtually no turbulence, unlike yesterday morning...

...landed and out and onto the bus...

...a lift up the hill from the EP, who liked her present...

I did not know which cat was in the box, luckily it was a good one...

"Dr Who" enjoyed, along with the return of "Last Tango in Halifax", with "Star Trek" too late to watch, recorded for later...

Highlight of the Day : Manchester and getting home...
