First listen of the day - sounds good...

At lunchtime, down to Stockbridge and this 6LP set partaken of from Shelter for £4...

...along with this, my first CD purchase of the month for just 2 of your English pounds...

Despite looking pristine, the LPs have quite a lot of surface noise, crackles and pops - how on earth did people enjoy listening to classical music at home before the advent of CD?

Meanwhile, Sid Smith was encouraging people to, ahem, show their cabling...

As regards Haydn, give me the CDs anytime...

Out to the footie - 4 a side was hard and my team lost by around 5 - probably something like 14-9...

I'd taken Anne to her mum's pre this for them to head to Tynecastle for Hearts game against Kilmarnock...

They lost 3-2 and all the enthusiasm and upbeatness post the defeat of Scotland's Newest Club has evaporated...

Back home, for me post the football participation, a tasty salad and part III of "Dracula" which was OK...

A lift home for Anne late doors and that was it..
