The view from the office this morning...
Breakfast before heading out (as opposed to after heading out)...
I'd intended shuffling CDs purchased since mid 2016 on the ipod...
...infuriatingly , despite looking reasonably well charged, the battery ran out after just two songs...
Oh well...
At lunchtime, these two picked up at the BHF...
14th Century delights from the lowlands of Europe...
..and some early 80's UK funk from an outfit by whom I once had a couple of singles but about whom I'd completely forgotten - not bad for 50p...
In the evening, out for tea - artichoke soup..
...polenta...
...accompanied by sparkling mineral water and good old chums Wenders, Mags, CK and Jules...
...before heading to the footie at 7...
I was really enjoying this game, playing well etc etc and then took my turn in goal at the start of the second half...
An absolute raker of a shot from about 4 feet away by old chum Colin caught me square on the left big toe, staving it badly...
As a result, I spent the entire 2nd half hobbling around in goals...
We won but I fear I'm now going to be out for a while...
Back home, I enjoyed today's purchases...
...while nursing an extremely painful foot,..
Oh well..
