What this diary is for, realy, is for me to be able to look back at "this day X years ago" and remember the good old days...

Quite a few anniversaries seemed to pop up today...

14 years ago today, the Exec Producer and I were at a nice cottage in Fife with John and Ali of Impossible Songs, before heading back into Edinburgh to meet Count Brodski's "new" partner, Penny for the first time, and to enjoy for a tasty dinner at Bell's Diner...

Anyway, never mind all that, what happened on this day, today?

A walk to Fopp...

...where pics of reggae compilations on special offer were taken to be checked back home...

...and the new remaster of Eno's collaboration with his brother and Daniel Lanois, along with a disc of brand new recordings by the trio, was secured for just 10 of your English pounds...

This was followed by a walk back...

Home to find Anne was away at Jane and Bob's, supervising a floor laying exercise - meanwhile, this had arrived and been left with a neighbour...

Tasty...

But, before opening, I set about recording my guitar parts for the set recorded on Sunday, during which I'd played bass - with a view to overdubbing...

Got around 8 songs in when Anne arrived home, followed closely by the world's most mercenary cat, Fang the Black Cat...

He headed straight for the kitchen...

...and miaowed loudly for goodie drops...

...which were, of course provided...

Once they had all gone...

...off he went into the garden...

Anne set about creating an absolutely top notchly tasty Spaghetti Bolognese...

She eschewed any help from me, so I set about with the ripping and listening re today's acquisitions, the two Eno discs plus the content of the Wergo celebratory box...

...by which time the best spaghetti in the world was ready...

Yumtatsic...

For the last time (it seems Scottish pile o'shite "River City" is back next week - why's it not on the new rubbish Scottish BBC channel so we can see the far superior "Holby City" at a decent hour??), "Holby City" was on at 8 and was enjoyed...

Then, a documentary by a working class Conservative pro Brexit comedian, Geoff Norcott, on just how the Middle Classes have fucked Britain up - it made some very valid points...

The rest of the night was spent on more ripping and listening and trying to get iTunes to work properly...

Highlight of the Day : Spag Bog...
