Listening back to the current track list for what might become the first song-based CBQ LP since "Starlightnight" back in 2012...

It's been a while...

This the view as I sat and listened at a bus stop...

At lunchtime, a walk back down to Stockbridge under blue skies...

...to take up where I left off yesterday due to Anne's boredom with me looking at rubbish in charity shops...

This, in the window of one, was a toy that my sisters and I used to play with at my Grandma's house in the 60's - most likely it belonged to my dad - he had an excellent train set too...

The one from the 60's was to have been dumped in a clear out a few years back but I think sister Sheila ended up taking it away...

I did not buy it, but I did buy these for a quid each...

A small art book was also secured...

...and, in another shop, this for £1.50...

A reasonable but stupid haul...

Oh well, it keeps me happy, kind of...

Meanwhile, Anne was looking after Rory Custard and, by default, Fang...

A tasty tea of Anne's newly amended recipe for Spaghetti Carbonara...

Yum...

..and the return of "University Challenge" (already!) - we drew with losers Lancaster, on 95 points...

Glasgow trounced them...

There was the usual contingent of freaks involved...

A visit from Fang for goodie drops - he's such a mercenary...

We couldn't let him out though...

As we watched "Stargazing" re man's exploration of space...

...Fang noted the squirrel at the feeding station...

"Uncle Dave, what's that?"...

"It's a squirrel Fang, leave it alone"...

But soon fang was going...

...going...

...gone...

To ripping and listening re the new acquisitions...

The Stockbridge haul had been joined via the post by this tasty treat...

That was it...

Highlight of the Day : Hunting, gathering...
