Up just before seven...
Bastille Day today and so, it had to start with Rush...
Then, with the EP still a-slumbering, to the kitchen, to sing the newly written lyrics for a piece, "Super 8", into the hand held recorder...
Home for some ripping and listening for me, some gardening and some sitting in the garden with Rory Custard for the EP - here, to illustrate, some pics from yesterday's visits...
Back at Crispycat Towers, adding guitar to "Super 8" and, suddenly, it worked...
A little bit of the men's Wimblydon final watched and, then, out to my mum's, where even more of the tennis was watched...
Then, to Anne's mum's, where the tennis was also being watched...
Kitty had been at the TRNSMT Festival on Friday in Glasgow, where she had witnessed Mabel, Aminé, A J Tracey, Years and Years, Gerry Cinnamon and Stormzy...
Her make-up and outfit had been excellent...
...and she regaled us with tales of her festival visit...
So who was the real winner?

Once again, I am looking to utilise one of Creeker Craig's newly created Creek backing tracks as inspiration...
All in all, my work this morning created a "combined" vocal track which, when added to the backing track was rather disappointing...
Oh well...
At nine, after two hours music work, prepping the wood from yesterday's attic tidy up, for being taken to the dump...
My "accidental painting" was to have gone but the shelf that it was accidentally painted onto would not fit into the car and was too thick to saw or break so a reprieve was granted...
Post therapeutic dumping of rubbish, to Patiserie Florentin for breakfast...
My barista skills produced a pair of buttocks...
No bacon for me but the poached egg and granary toast was much enjoyed...
A walk around Stockbridge, noting the Antony Gormley figure had been returned to the Water of Leith...
In the Shelter shop, some nice classical additions to the collection...

Look at those pantaloons!
...and she regaled us with tales of her festival visit...
Meanwhile a tasty tea was enjoyed and the tennis went on and on and on until, eventually, Djokavic beat Federer in a tie break in the fifth set, after 5 hours, one of which had been taken up by Djokavic bouncing the ball before his serves - and despite Federer having won more games...
So who was the real winner?
Home and a playlist compiled of new CBQ music, the makings of a new LP - nine tracks so far but very much a work in progress...
Listened back to it whilst watching a doc on Neil Armstrong...
Late on, another doc on American artist Faith Ringgold before hitting the sack, weekend over...
Highlight of the Day : Bringing a new track back from the dead...
