Up early as usual, with big plans for things I needed to get done...

But, as usual, even though those things were to be done on the laptop, the laptop's other stuff sucked me in and I didn't quite achieve what I'd wanted to...

That is the nature of the laptop...

Anyway, breakfast at home...

The squirrel was also breakfasting...

Then, while Anne gardened, I ran through today's set again, on the bass, then packed the gear up...

Out to Roslin for 1:30 for our first get together (other than the trio last week) since April...

We were at John's very nicely newly designed and built upon house...

We had 22 songs to get through, including five songs this version of the band had never played...

11 done and a break...

Then the second 11 rattled through, kind of...

We were in what amounted to a brand new rehearsal space...

Nice...

We finished at 4:30 then I headed to my mum's...

Once again her lift to her church had not turned up this morning, despite her having rearranged her carer especially...

For some reason though, she will not just call a taxi to go places...

Idiot...

She has a haematoma on her leg...

Nothing serious...

But can be sore...

Left her to it, with her evening carer, around 6:30 and headed home...

A super tasty chicken pasta dish from the EP...

Then to editing down today's 134 minute recording to just the 72 minutes of music...

Reasonable, considering both the long hiatus and that this was a "new" quartet due to Keith's absence...

Toying with the idea of overdubbing my guitar...

Weekend over...

Highlight of the Day : Bass to the max...
