A morning of work and then, out into the sun for Easter, with a drive over to Flotterstone, in the Pentlands, for a walk to Glencourse reservoir...

A cheeky wee picnic first though...

...by the river...

And then, a relaxing walk into the countryside...

...on a beautiful Good Friday...

It's funny to think that the water we drink has been sailed upon and is inhabited by fish and other animals...

Other wildlife was available...

The Heron drew a crowd...

...while it looked for fish...

The walk back took us close to the firing range in the hills...

...and we were soon back at the car and heading home...

...where three purchases made this morning were "dealt with"...

...and "The Shelf" was also "sorted" re recent ongoing droopiness...

Back to normal....

A couple of glasses of vino rosso were enjoyed...

...before we walked down the hill to the Little Rascal wine bar for more, considerably more expensive, vino...

..and then, over the road to the Eastern Pavilion for a tasty curry...

...preceded by tasty starters...

I think I may have enjoyed it...

A bus back up the road and fell asleep to nephew Craig's football programme...

A good Good Friday...

Highlight of the Day : A walk in the country...
