Up early...

...and donning my prog shirt...

Today, over to Dunfermline to meet up with Dr Prog for a day of, erm, Prog...

A Genesis cover band, Afterglow, concentrated on the Collins era and probably the worst part of it, i.e. mostly post "Wind & Wuthering" - choosing also not to play "Afterglow"...

Dr Prog had to walk out, as he felt music he loved was being murdered...

I thought they were not bad, all told...

After this, I took the opportunity to trawl round the main constituent of the shopping opportunities in Scotland's former capital - charity shops...

These picked up for just £6 all told...

Back to the park pavilion in time for the next full band (there were acoustic sessions going on in the adjacent hall between "main" acts)...

Alan Reed, singer with the band Pallas for some 25 years, and his band were actually quite impressive...

...but, in the end, they could not compete with Emerson...

...Lake...

...and Palmer...

...or, rather, Noddy's Puncture...

...who played a blinder of a set, so good, that I thought Palmer was in the room and his two dearly departed band mates had been resurrected...

After that, I eschewed a 2 hour set by a Fish era Marillion covers band and, instead, headed home to Anne, fish and chips for both of us in hand...

"Deutschland 86" was enjoyed - it's getting better, before some real ELP in the cans...

A good day...

Highlight of the Day : ELP, kind of...
