Up early this morning but no real tasks - I am a couple of weeks behind with the classical podcasts but yesterday's Eclectic Selection, with its 4 classical inclusions, is already riding high in the classical charts thanks to Mixcloud's weird algorithms...

So, just sitting doing nothing really..

Once Anne was up, I walked to the grocery store for rolls and milk...

The view going...

The view coming back 30 minutes later...

Post breakfast, with my walk having been soundtracked by the "live" set I recorded in August 2017, I set about some rehearsing of CBQ songs - which was reasonable fun...

Post lunch, "Deutschland '86" entertained, then, out to a garden centre for some earth for Anne re the garden - these wee monkeys were chanced upon...

Mozart was soundtracking delightfully...

To my mum's and she was chipper and upbeat, which is always good...

I was able to show her the Facebook entries and pics from chums Lex & Moira's surprise 60th Wedding Anniversary party...

...organised by their daughter Lindsay...

The Exec Produce and I are hoping we have one too, as we were married around the same age as Lex and Moira...

With Meg the Black Cat gone though, there is no-one to organise the surprise...

In the evening, some listening to recent acquisitions, including an excellent 2CD set from the Dropbox courtesy of Prog Rock Willie...

A tasty Chinese delivery nourished and then, at 9, the 3rd episode of "Line of Duty"...

It does not get much better than that, if at all, TV wise...

Watching Hearts goals from the cup yesterday then off to bed, weekend over...

Highlight of the Day : Line of Duty...
