Up at six and the first two hours of the day spent recording this week's podcast - the next almost an hour or so, uploading it and adding the info...

This is how I waste my time...

Anne has a new hose for the garden...

It required to be built...

...and added to the pipe in the garden...

But first, coffee for Mr CBQ and coffee and toast for his Exec Producer...

The views from the office this morning...

Also pre hose work, along to Rory Custard's garden to offer the wee man some sustenance...

Inevitably...

...Fang appeared...

Back to our own place and the hose successfully built, installed, tested and stored...

In the post yesterday, along with the two Françoise Hardy compilations, a book which, at first, on looking at it, I thought must be by another Françoise Hardy - but, no, it is the work of Ms Hardy right enough...

I did not know she was an, ahem, "astrologer"...

This, which arrived today from the postie, bodes better...

Episode 6 of 8 of "Humans" enjoyed - starting to get better, we concurred...

Out to my mum's just after twelve - sister Sheila and Senior there too, so some chat, including nephew Ali and fiance Julie's wedding next week...

We left Mum, with her feet up, enjoying Wimbledon...

Back home and the first half of Belgium v England enjoyed...

Meanwhile, in Dumfries, the League Cup had started and, within 10 minutes, Queens were 2-0 down to "local" rivals Stranraer...

However, they scored 3 in four minutes at the end of the first half and went on to win 5-3...

And so it begins again...

As we awaited the bus, we learned Belgium had beaten England 2-0...

In the late afternoon, out for drinks with chums Chris-with-a-Ch, Vicky, Martin (Ferret) and his fiance, Marianne and new mum Kerry at the Melville Lounge, much changed since I played there now seven years ago...

The ladies...

The ladies getting ready to go (with Chris' hand)...

Then, a walk along...

...to the Omar Khayyam for some tasty fayre top chat and laughs...

Yowsah!

An early start had been made as we knew this would be an early night due to other commitments around the table and, by 9:40 we were back on Crispycat Hill under good skies...

...and noting small chums...

The final two episodes of "Humans" tee'd things up for yet another continuation, which, no doubt we will watch and question why we are watching it...

Todays Artwork : "The Happy Couple"

Highlight of the Day : Night out with chums...
