Up reasonably early...

...and listening to this, which was behind the door on our return last night...

Today's main event though, for which there was much pre-departure prep, was Capital Models' first "live" rehearsal for the gig on 1 September...

The car was loaded prior to Keith arriving and we set off for Roslin around 1:20, post some chat with the EP - who declined an invitation to come along and give her opinion on the sound...

It took around an hour to get set up and ready to start playing through the set...

It has to be said the sound was less than ideal...

...but I have some ideas as to how to set up in two weeks when we return...

As regards the actual playing, as opposed to the sound, we are now pretty tight on matters and Paul did an excellent job, given it was his first time playing with the full band (in person) - and the fact that the sound was less than generous to his keyboards...

Pics by an unpictured guitarist Stu Cobley...

And so Capital Models is a quintet once again...

Today's artwork : "The Stage is Set"...

Highlight of the Day : Playing very loudly...
