Up early once again...

...and to recreating Roger Waters' set, using WAV files for the CDs and editing and cross-fading the tracks...

Thankfully, the audience was absent from proceedings...

This took two hours...

Around the same time this project was coming to a satisfactory conclusion, Anne was making quiche...

...which a still bare footed Mr CBQ captured in the oven...

She'd already made one last night, which I thought was v tasty but, for Anne, was not quite up to scratch...

I created a playlist for this afternoon's visit of Keith, Maureen and Anne's mum (mainly of the CDs bought on Friday) and gave it a partial run-through in the living room...

I am the DJ, kind of...

Coffee in the garden, in the sun...

...with the Quichemeister...

I also noted for posterity the mess made of my thumbnail yesterday while fastening the top button on my shirt re prep for the new clobber purchase...

Anne's mum arrived...

...and gin was enjoyed...

...then Keith and Maureen arrived and more gin was enjoyed...

Later, inside for the quiche with home made potato salad and non-potato salad, followed by a selection of deserts (with cream of course) and cheese and biscuits...

Very civilized...

The post dinner chat however, was interrupted by a concerned call from sister Sheila re mum's situation at the hospital...

By the time this ended, it was time for Keith and Maureen to head off into the still hot sun...

Anne's mum waited behind and we did some work on pictures from her recent Jersey trip, looking for possible painting subject matter for her next term...

She looked through the diary re pics from the Baden-Baden trip too...

Very brave...

And then, off home...

A good afternoon/evening...

And so, today's artwork is, "Garden Scene"...

Highlight of the Day : Family tea...
