A day of sections...
Firstly, up at 6 and listening to music I bought in 1982, inspired by the download of some William S Burroughs recordings bought that year, all the while updating this re the Spanish trip and before...
Secondly, deciding not to go to the gym and enjoying poached egg on toast with Anne at home...
Thirdly, setting up the download of around 30 new albums into the collection...
Fourthly, a message from Dr Prog that he was up for a meet at today's Record Fair and so out and into town for said meet up, leaving the downloads running...
We both partook of a number of items - CD prices there (like the vinyl prices) were getting silly (but in the opposite direction of vinyl) - many of these were just 50p, the 3, 4 and 5 CD box sets just £2 each...
How could I refuse...

How could I refuse...
To the Grassmarket...
... for sustenance and discussion...
Ways were parted and I walked back to the car...
Fourthly, back home, a very enjoyable 2 hour episode of "Montalbano" enjoyed with the EP and Tiger the Cat...
Fifthly, the commencement of the inevitable extracting of zipped downloads and ripping of acquired CDs and surfing of the Twitter accompanied the late recording and uploading of this week's hour long podcast...
Sixthly, a very tasty indeed made from scratch Spaghetti Carbonara from Annie's Kitchen...
Seventhly, the continuing of the fifth section - which included the uploading of a "classic album cover" - some seemed foxed by my choice, taken at random from my LP collection - as all my LPs are, of course, classics...
Eighthly, the enjoying of the next two episodes of the excellent French cop drama, "Spiral"...
Ninthly, the creation of today's artwork, "2018-01-20"...
And, tenthly, off to bed, with the last 100 physical and last 100 digital acquisitions on shuffleplay in the cans...
A day of sections...
Highlight of the Day : No gym, poached eggs, New music, Montalbano, Spaghetti, Spiral, Dr Prog meet - it was all good...
