Out into the kind of dark this morning...

Like a Monday...

I forgot the order I was to have fulfilled yesterday - plus some cakes...

I waited near the road for the EP to drive by and drop them off...

At lunchtime, the order was completed and I took a wander round the shops in Dalry - no purchases...

On the Twitter, a conversation re the Quintets of Georges Onslow...

I have this nice box from Holland, picked up in Budapest I believe, or, possibly, Prague...

A resolution made that, from now, we will holiday at New Year...

We used to head abroad every year but, since this diary started in 2005, we've only been away from Edinburgh twice...

That needs to change...

Back home, tasty pasta and some TV watched - "Michael Portillo's Great Train Journeys", "University Challenge" (we did not beat the losing team) and the return, with two episodes, of "The Goldbergs"...

Then, some listening to recent downloads and the creation of today's artwork, "2018-01-03"...

To bed around midnight...
