The view from the office this morning...

Downloading some previously unknown to me Krautrock from the early 70's...

Amongst the haul, which comes in much more quickly with the aid of the new router, an album by Keith Weiss, under the guise of Niagara...

It's  is basically two sides of drum jams - it features Keith Forsey, Giorgio Moroder's go to drum man prior to the use of drum machines (yes, his timing was that good - e.g. Sparks' "Number One in Heaven") and Udo Lindenberg - who was a jazz drummer before becoming Germany's biggest rock superstar...

So there you go...

Out for breakfast to the leafy suburb of Polworth...

..and some comfy chairs...

This was...

...Odds and Ends...

A good find...

...and tasty fayre - and another very good coffee...

Bumped into this wee monkey on the way back to the car...

The quest to ensure all 8,500 of my CDs are in my iTunes continues - these were found to be missing this afternoon - from the section"classical by composer, A-Z" between D and M...

A drive to my mum's...

On reasonable form and enjoyed a few pics from our Hamburg trip...

...along with the ubiquitous biscuit...

Then, to Anne's mum's for tea with Mary, Keith and Maureen...

Tales of recent trips to three destinations...

This the view later on from Mary's kitchen...

...where I was caught taking a picture...

Luckily, my subjects saw the funny side...

Home to see Iceland go down 5-2 to France - they did win the second half 2-1, I suppose...

A tough semi final now awaits Germany...

The view from the office this evening...

...at which point, this weekend's "Musketeers" was enjoyed...

Updating this, some late on listening and lights out on another weekend...

Highlight of the Day : New Krautrock...
