More work - it's been ongoing all week - uploading the music for the new CBQ album to Bandcamp...

Then, out for various chores...

Firstly sending back an empty CD box to Amazon, the box with the CD inside has now arrived - then, ensuring tyre pressure in the Cloudland Blue mobile was correct involved visits to the different garages - I do not like waiting in queues behind idiots, or indeed paying for air...

Into town and parked at "the Saturday Place" before we walked towards the library...

We stopped off at Brew Lab for breakfast - the Exec Producer opted for a croissant, while I chose the Granola...

Yum...

To the library, handing back the stuff pictured at Summerhall three weeks ago and taking out this...

Down to Princes St where two new pairs of boots/shoes were partaken of, as these made their way to the great shoe cupboard in the sky...

A bus up to Newington, solo, in order to pick up the car and go to visit my mum...

First, to the British Heart Foundation shop, where a Quentin Jardine book was picked up for her - along with this cheeky wee number for just £1.99...

However, on opening my wallet at the cash machine to obtain further spondoolies, I realised the credit card with which I'd bought my new footwear was absent...

A hurried journey back down to Princes St to the shop of shoes and lost cards, to find no sign of said card...

Luckily, Anne was already homeward bound on an omnibus and, once back at HQ, was able to stop the card after having confirmed that the shoe purchase had constituted its last use...

Phew...

Meanwhile, I journeyed once again to the car and returned home for a quick lunch, before finally making my way to the hospital, to find mum in good form and looking forward to my tales of new boots and lost cards...

Somehow, this pic ended up on that Twitter...

...which mum found extremely amusing...

She also liked the Jardine book more than that Umberto Eco nonsense, now residing in the day room...

The view from mum's office this afternoon...

Home for some well earned grapes...

...as Queens lost yet again (1-0 to St Mirren) and Hearts ground out a 1-0 win away to Dundee...

I made this wee tribute to Keith Emerson up in the attic...

In the evening, two episodes of "Spin" entertained and further uploading of the new album, along with ripping and listening, took care of the remainder of a busy and eventful Saturday...

Highlight of the Day : Having my card stopped before anyone was able to rob me blind...
