A call in the afternoon from the hospital to say mum would be being discharged tomorrow...

Swift plans made and then, to the hospital for a visit, while sister Sheila went to mum's house to organise some stuff there...

However, on arriving, it was clear mum was less than happy with the situation - she'd not had her "steps assessment" yet and had been promised physio both tomorrow and Sunday...

A quick conference with the doc and all was sorted - it seems the medical staff who organised the discharge were not aware of the steps issue - and the physio staff were not aware of the imminent discharge...

So, a classic case of cross-purposes - all sorted and she will hopefully be out on Monday...

I had her up and about with her zimmer and, here, her (at last, after probably up to 5 years, correct height) sticks...

It must be said, after three weeks, she is still very far from 100% at present...

Home, via a pick up from Anne and some telly in the evening and some listening to the new acquisitions, following on from tasty prawn and chorizo-based pasta...
