Awoke just after five but wasn't up "too" early...

Changed the background from "The Rosenquist Event" to "Over Lake Noise" - probably no one noticed...

After last Saturday's afternoon spent re-arranging my physical music, this week I spent almost the entire day systematically going through the 6,003 albums currently in my iTunes programme and finding and adding artwork to those for which it was missing...

Pathetic really but an enjoyable day of listening to loads of music, much of which I hadn't heard in a while, or indeed, which I just hadn't ever heard...

The playlist included, of course, a good helping of the mighty Wizzard, celebrating the 40th anniversary today of your correspondent's attendance at his first live gig...

Pre 10, Anne was off to meet up with Lynn and Penny for a goodly amount of the available daylight hours, the main objective being to book a summer trip...

This was indeed done and the trio of lovely ladies is off to the Balearics - their chosen venue looks and sounds good....

Just like Annie - my only pic of the day...

In the afternoon, an excellent win for QoS, 2-0 versus second placed Falkirk (the latter's having been unbeaten for 11 games) took Queens back to fourth, in a more consolidated standpoint than before...

All told, breaks from the project were only taken for breakfast and dinner...

..and a couple of things on the telly...

On Tivo, the first episode of "Born to be Wild"(we somehow didn't "tape" the other two but no doubt they're on iPlayer) - not much in the way of acknowledgement about the fact that it was actually many of those kids who attended Woodstock (now in their late sixties and seventies) who went on to make the music "business" the music "industry" - some good clips though...

...and an hour and a half from 9pm to watch great new Belgian series, "Salamander", on BBC4...

On e-mail, attempts to firm up details for tomorrow's reconnaissance outing with Capital Models...

Some late night work and lights out, battling back "wasted day" thoughts - because I actually enjoyed what I did...

Isn't that what matters?

Highlight of the Day : Sorting stuff...

Bay City Rollers - Rollin'

You put that in as a marker; see who is paying attention.

Nice one Paulus

The track I played was a golden oldie from the Friday Night discos at the Edinburgh Rock in Bonnyrig - "Please Stay"

Classic!!
