A grey day...

Another walk down to Stockbridge...

This time, my credit note was utilised fully and discs by Goodbye Mr Mackenzie remnants Isa and the Filthy Tongues, Peter Gabriel and Ravi Shankar were secured while, in a nearby charity shop, Basquiat Strings and Kim Edgar joined the fray for a mere squid each...

Back home, no time to listen initially as I set things up for tonight's rehearsal with Jamie...

..and some hastily prepared drum loops - Keith and Andy once again being indisposed...

We ran through around a dozen songs from the original 1979/80 repertoire of Capital Models, recording it all for posterity - later realising I'd set the recording levels too high...

Just as well really because it wasn't our best ever night of music - half a dozen songs or so are possibly presentable and, of course, they will all sound better with Keith and Andy on board...
