At lunch time a trip to Record Shak in a bid to decrease a credit note I have with them...

On the basis of a recent glowing review by Sid Smith, I partook of Herbie Hancock's "Thrust"  - and indeed it was found to be a funky cracker...

Home a little earlier than yesterday...

...and an evening of rehearsing with nephew Andy...

The goal was to teach him the half a dozen or so Capital Models originals the band will play at the end of April...

Tonight, we played along with the original recordings from 1980 plus tapes of our reunion in February 2011, almost three years to the day...

It went very well indeed and bodes well...

An uplift compared to last week's session with Jamie...

Next week we will back to a trio, with drummer Keith still attending in spirit only at this stage...

A late dinner comprised a superb shepherd's pie from Annie...

Ended the day with some TV, "Question Time" and "This Week", leading to a post midnight to bed scenario...

Highlight of the Day : Teaching...
