Up later than usual - around 8..

Ibuprofen and back to bed...

Up again around 9...

Working on converting the rehearsal tapes into individual songs...

Breakfast at home, soundtracked by the jazzy noodlings of The Three Sounds...

More work on the tapes...

Then some listening to music landed in my Dropbox, courtesy Prog Rock Willie...

Books are on their way re the "Twenty Four Paintings" project - still thinking about exactly how to present it eventually...

Anne off to Tynecastle in the afternoon - another defeat, 2-0 to Inverness - Queens' game abandoned as the weather took a turn for the worse...

Meanwhile I rehearsed the first set for a fortnight's time...

Anne home, soaked and looking for a quick turnaround...

Meanwhile, I watched an old "Dr Who", "The Girl Who Waited" - poignant...

Anne's Xmas Party with chums was tonight...

A drive to the Murrayfield Hotel, where we met up with Theresa and husband Chris, Deyna and Gillian - I was not called upon to carry out a further transfer to the party venue, Murrayfield Stadium, and so headed home, via the Pakora shop...

Turns out Meg the Black Cat would like to eat pakoras...

Mind you, in her old age, she has had a complete turnaround re "human" food - looking to grab anything and everything, whereas, in her younger days, all such items were completely ignored...

Two enjoyable episodes of "Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." followed by a run through the second set...

..and more listening and surfing as I waited on the call to collect...

Back at Murrayfield just before 1, Anne bailing an hour before the end time...

Home...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : New to me Prog Rock...

That's a real snakes' wedding of cables.

Yeah, you're right Paul

And my motto has always been "a tidy stage is a happy stage"...

Hopefully it'll be alright on the night...

Probably our last rehearsal tonight...
