Early morning inconsequential work on the computer including solving a couple of problems...

Wiped the iPod and added back albums bought since October - 4.6 days of music bought in 83 days (5.5% of my time)...

Two discs for brother-in-law Keith created - Reich and Mozart...

Out around 11 and over to Jane and Bobby's to pick up nephew Olly...

...but not niece Kitty - here making videos on her iPhone - videos which in the early 80's would have taken 3 days of filming with a full crew etc etc - technology eh?...

I entertained the kids while the mums had a chat...

To the cinema for "The Hobbit : The Desolation of Smaug"...

Very enjoyable indeed - better than the first part of the trilogy and much enjoyed by your trio of cinema-goers...

The film is 162 minutes long but I think 10 of those may well be the credits, seen here...

Back to Jane and Bobby's for this fortnight's family tea...

An evening visit then to my mum's and a couple of hours of good chat - driving again without mishap and looking forward to her second eye op if it goes as well as the first...

Xmas arrangements made and assistance given re Xmas card display - she has received a huge amount indeed...

Home to end the weekend with "Person of Interest" and "Two Broke Girls"...
