Due to the state of the leg by early evening, I called Jim Park to advise we'd be unable to make it to his much looked forward to Burns Night...
Instead, co-codamol ingested, I spent the evening with my leg up, lying on the sofa as we watched the final six (SIX!!) episodes of The Killing...
....which was good and distracting...
We have the second series waiting on the Tivo...
