Back in Edinburgh for the shortest day...

...and, as you might imagine, a trip to Fopp was on the agenda - with jazz offers being taken advantage of...

Back home, the big freeze ((c) BBC 2010) continued...

Word from sister Pam that she had her most relaxing evening yet last night since all this began, sleeping for a good 11 hours - just what she needed...

To the doc's in Loanhead today and the staples in her headwound were expertly removed...

Visits in the evening from local chums buoyed...

At Crispycat Towers, Anne's tasty pasta nourished while time was spent listening to new purchases and ripping in preparation for entry into the jukeboxes...

On telly, a live Xmas Special "Mock the Week" and a Tivo'd "Have I Got News For You" both entertained nicely...

Highlight of the Day : A welcome, distracting, visit to Fopp...
