Another not great sleep, notwithstanding turning in at 10 last night...

Today we were as good as snowed in...

Although Sheila did make a brave foray to Tesco...

The snow continued for much of the morning...

During which we were however visited by Suzanne and her wee girls Olivia and Megan and also by Debbie (who brought some tasty mince pies) and by Anna...

All very welcome too...

Later, Pam wrote her Xmas cards...

And Sheila made an excellent omlette for lunch...

The afternoon was spent relaxing, listening to music while mum and Sheila read magazines and did crosswords...

In the evening, I was despatched to the nearby chippy for our dinner - 4 x Cod & Chips...

Here I bumped into chum Michelle with her partner, Phil.  Michelle advised she'd pop by tomorrow to see us before we all head back to Scotland (weather permitting of course)...

Back home and an evening of "Strictly Come Dancing" and "Casualty" was enjoyed...

..before we turned in for the night on a strange but restful day...
