Awoke with High Voltage still in my ears...

Up around 8 and tidied up for going away tomorrow...

Everything on hold, studio broken down, guitars packed away...

Anne and some neighbours managed to dig the snow away from our garage yesterday and get the car out while I was away...

So, this morning it was off to see my old mum out in Loanhead...



While there, a call to sister Pam - she seems in high spirits and advises in no uncertain terms she wants me to be that way too when I get there...

I agree...

I was going to forego the long-planned Xmas lunch with Anne's family but decided instead to go, playing taxi to Anne, her mum and Jane and Bobby...

A super meal at Daniel's down in Leith kind of took my mind off of things...



Back home now and catching up on this while Anne watches "Strictly" - so now, downstairs for the finale of "Merlin" and then off to England tomorrow...

It will be hard to be away from Anne and Meg the Black Cat for what might be some time but they both realise Pam needs me to be with her right now...
