I am writing this on 30 June 2025...
Saturday...
Up at a more reasonable hour and breakfasting at 8:20...
Then, to work on my recent project, started in July and continued in August...
Post "Variation" releases based on Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music", Eno's "Music For Airports" & "Thursday Afternoon" and Neu!'s 3 LP discography, I'm reimagining Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon" via a very quiet ambient rendition, incorporating my signature Disquiet Guitars, removing the bombast but retaining the DNA of the original....
Each piece reflects the seminal Pink Floyd work in one way or another, indeed, each ambient version of the eleven tracks retains elements of guitar and synthesiser by David Gilmour, percussion & tape effects by Nick Mason, keyboards and synthesiser by Richard Wright and lyrics, bass guitar, vocals, synthesiser and tape effects by Roger Waters...
Lunch was this concoction...
...a very badly made omelet...
An apple later...
Chicken salad for tea...
Late on, more listening downstairs...
...before heading for bed...
Highlight of the Day: Music work...
Today's New Music:-
