Saturday...
I have been looking to learn another Elton John song...
Meanwhile, the system awaited...
Added to the podcast output of 2020...
..and downloaded a load of new music , released in September, as I try to keep up with the times...
Nice new LPs by SAULT and Tangents plus new singles from Nina Hagen, William Fitzsimmons and New Order...
Neal Morse's "Sola Gratia" was a trifle disappointing, while Dua Lipa's "Club Future Nostalgia" was probably a step too far...
Also gave a listen, for the first time in a long time, to Cloudland Blue Quartet's "Soundingfall" and very much enjoyed it...
A tasty breakfast...
...accompanied by the radio...
Listened to some of yer actual CDs for a change...
...and had a go at rearranging the "library"...
Random LP of the day today was this from Daryll Hall - produced by Robert Fripp and, infamously, withheld for several years by Hall's record company, as they thought it would destroy his career...
Watched something or other on the telly - but now, two and half weeks later, even with this picture which I must assume I took to jog my memory, I have no idea what...
(it was the veru enjoyable indeed "Elona Holmes" - writing this on 3 November, looking back a month)...
The library was returned to its former state...
No idea why I took this...
And that was a Saturday spent in the house due to rain...
Highlight of the Day : Probably new music; and the big breakfast by the looks of it...
