Sunday once again - and, up late...

The anniversary roses are doing well...

...and yesterday's acquisitions are on the shelf...

Out before the EP was awake, to do my mum's shopping, bringing back croissants for breakfast...

This morning too, an early visit from our wee friend...

For Dreamies...

..but, for some reason known only to him, a much longer stay than usual...

As is the case most nights and most mornings, I ended yesterday and started today with an old podcast, Vol 21 I think from earlier this year - and noted I'd chosen the tracks using the old random number generator and it was good - so I decided to do the same this week..

Firstly, for each of the 25 tracks, the generator chose which of the two big red books of CDs I own...

...then the page number, the column on the page and the disc in the column...

I got to chose the track so, you know, not completely random...

I ended up with this eclectic selection...

Although, on Friday when I come to record it, I'll realise that the 10cc track was wrongly chosen and it ought to be one by Return to Forever...

By that time too, I'll also have changed a couple of the track selections...

Around midday or so, I made my way into the attic and, for the first time in a long time, ran through a set (The Lockdown Set) with the boys in the band on tape...

Very enjoyable - no singing though, just playing the guitar...

Meanwhile, downstairs, uncharacteristic affection was being shown...

Mid afternoon, the weekly visit to my mum - looking a lot better but still, of course, stuck in her house 24/7...

And her toe is, once again, giving  her gyp...

Hopefully not yet another infection on the way...

Late on, had a wee browse through this book...

...which got me thinking of a new "project" - listening to one classical piece written in each of the years of the 20th Century - at present, merely a thought...

Tea tonight was a very tasty vegetable chili from the hands of the EP...

Yum...

In the evening, some Tivo, some listening...

The usual...

Weekend over...

Highlight of the Day :  Anne's chili...
