Fixing the botches on the podcast before uploading...
...and adding a last minute dedication...
The beast was podcasting in its kitchen...
Today, finally, I was able to return these CDs, borrowed at the start of March, to the library...
We parked under Arthur's Seat at "the Saturday place"...
...and walked to the library, past our old shop, now et another haircutting establishment...
...with the EP reflected in the window...
On through the University buildings...
At the library, we didn't realise you had to make an appointment to actually go in - so, it was a walk through and put your CDs in a big box scenario...
Fair enough...
Down Victoria Street...
...to the market in the Grassmarket...
...where these three CDS were partaken of for a tenner...
An FH bootleg...
...some enjoyable reggae of questionable provenance...
...and a Jon Anderson related bootleg...
Brunch sitting outside...
...before walking back to the car but only via Blackwell's Books, where there was a sale in their music department - all these for a quid each - at least two of which are Xmas related...
And so it begins...
...return to the car and a drive home...
..to find a problem with the printer...
As with almost all computer problems, it sucked me in and wasted a huge amount of time before somehow solving itself without letting me know exactly what I might have done to help it along...
This evening, another good "Vera" and I must mention "After Life" by Ricky Gervais, both series of which we have watched in their entirely over the last couple of weeks...
Late on, we found an Avengers film on the Tivo box and enjoyed it, even though we reckoned we may have seen it before...
And that was Saturday...
