Our last breakfast in Felsberg...

We took Xenia and Ansem to school and said our goodbyes...

We took Teja to the bus stop and said our goodbyes...

Goodbye too to the guinea pigs...

The house...

The sport...

The cars (Spider elsewhere)...

The felsburg...

And Jorg and Yvonne...

...and this Meg the Black Cat imposter...

...and off into Kassel to pick up Alan and Penny and set off to the Mosel Valley for a couple of days...

We stopped for lunch in Marburg...

Very photogenic...

Ahem...

Lunch opposite this house...

Home to the Grimm Brothers for three years...

We can heartily recommend Cafe Barfuss on Barfuss (barefoot) Strasse...

After a visit to a music shop and some Hadyn for me and Deodato for Alan, we descended the steps from the old town...

...and continued on our way...

...passing Frankfurt am Main in the distance...

...and making another stop, this time in the town of Bingen...

...home to the earliest born composer by whom I own any works, Hildegard von Bingen...

We were back in wine country...

...but kaffee und kuchen were once again on the menu...

...before rounding off our road trip arriving in Bernkastel Kuess around 6 pm...

Our fave wine place was shut till Friday - we leave on Thursday...

But we found an alternative called Bitchen...

...where we proceeded to drink a bit too much....

...then walked over the bridge in search of late night sustenance...

More drinks and some paninis...

...before returning to Bitchen for even more drink...

Oh dear...

Culture out the window....

Highlight of the Day : Marburg old town ...
