A lovely morning in Bernkastel...

A wine programme was being filmed - involving this old but pristine VW...

..and some grapes...

New boots for the Exec Producer...

Then, up into the old town for coffee/hot chocolate...

We were joined by Alan and Penny before forming separate discovery parties and then meeting up later, on the other side of the bridge, for a wildlife and scenery filled walk by the river...

Including some fast pensioners...

Alan and Penny walked up to the castle overlooking the town while Anne and I headed back to the hotel, taking to the terrace to enjoy a few beers...

The quartet was reunited and the refreshment continued to flow... 

...with vineyards yards away...

...and good views over the town...

Out around eight for our last dinner - schnitzel was everyone's choice...

Tasty...

Home to bed, our trip almost over...
