Much mucking about today re the header of this diary...

Soundtracked by the recent compilations on shuffleplay plus two recent acquisitions, a disc of Italian Renaissance Dance Music, which arrived yesterday and another of Karl Amadeus Hartmann's string quartets  one and two, which was behind the door when I returned home this evening in the sun...



...the foot continues to mend...


This evening, "Big Bang" and a programme on the selection process for "University Challenge" interspersed with the time-sucking nonsense that is iTunes/iPod/iPhone arseing about...

At nine, the first semi final of the World Cup....

Brazil started well but Germany scored in 10 minutes...

What happened next was extraordinary - they scored a further three goals in the space of around four minutes and, by half time were 5-0 up...

Final score 7-1, with Brazil's goal coming after 90 minutes...

Play was soundtracked by this...


"New Girl" ended the night...
