Ended up way down at the bottom of Leith Walk...
...where three items were nabbed for £1...
Back to town...
...still being soundtracked...
...and, at 1:30, bang on time, into Chaophraya with Luke...
The chat was, mostly, about work...
Top starters - Thai Tacos for Luke and Roll Gai Grob (Thai Spiced Chicken Wrap) for me...
...followed by Khao Soy Gai (Chiang Mai Curry) for Luke and Pad Prik Tai Dum (Beef Black Pepper Sauce) for me...
...and a couple of Thai lagers each...
Then, to Spoons for some cheap gin - orange gin, even - and chat about football, music (Radiohead, Yello, Coldplay), film (Lord of the Rings), walking over cars (don't ask) and living in pop stars ex-houses and walking in on your naked landlady...
Ahem...
...and then having to move flat shortly thereafter...
Chummed Luke back to the office around 4:30 or so and then soundtracked again on the bus home...
A good Tuesday...
...which ended with some listening to tracks from the above acquisitions (incl the whole of the Madeline Kelley LP) and some reasonable telly, including the end of Season 4 of "Rizzoli & Isles", from which Detective Frost was noticable by his absence...
I found out after tomorrow's episode 1 of Season 5, that the actor Lee Thompson Young, very sadly, committed suicide in August 2013 on the morning of shoot...
Bipolar diagnosis, was apparently the instigator. Sad indeed...
