Up at six and listening back to the selection for the podcast, making a few changes...
Anne took the car to the garage for its repair, following "the tree incident"...

Out and into town to meet up with Dr Prog at Pop in Morningside for chat and sustenance...
Nice sandwiches (with a juice for the Doc)...
...were followed by coffee (with a bear)...
...and cake for the Doc and...
...the worst juice I've ever tasted, for me...
Probably too much chat about what the Doc gets sucked into on Youtube re conspiracy theories but a goodly amount too re Jaquie's recovery from her recent knee op, the sale of my mum's house, a visit for the Doc and drummer Johnny to see their ailing brother in Orkney and, of course, music...
In all around 2.5 hours of chat and then, farewells said and off in opposite directions...
I took a 23 down to Canonmills for a look in the hospice shop there...
Happened across these two Sky alumni...
...the Doc having regaled his story of taking his mum to see them, thinking she'd like their classical aspect, only to be told it was far too loud...
Mums eh?
The Doc's album of the year thus far (which has not dented my own Top 50, although it did make an LP of the Day slot), soundtracked the journey home...
...where today's items were ripped, listened to and looked at...
This set me off down a rabbit hole, filling in all the gaps in the library re the Ohio Players...
This remains, as yet, unplayed...

For £3.50, I can forgive the amount of this book given over to shavers and tooth brushes...
