Up before 7 and, again, did this for yesterday...

Ready for action...

Overcast again...

WFH post breakfast (accompanied by the 25 years of CBQ soundscapes remix album), the rest of the morning was soundtracked by 1980 as gaps in the collection were filled...

The Ferry Corsten soundtrack acquired the other day, was also sampled in its entirety - very good indeed...

By contrast, the debut from Jon & Vangelis is not as good as my memory would have had me believe...

I have always been prejudiced against the second version of Ultravox and listening to their debut, I wanted to hear a fully instrumental version - Midge Ure's vocal histrionics grate versus the detached, cool delivery of John Foxx...

Mid morning, some new canvases arrived for the Exec Producer to work her magic upon - but, before she can, they needed to be flattened as regards the way in which they had been transported to Crispycat Towers...

No doubt, results will be on here over the coming weeks...

Lunch with two "Modern Family" as we moved into Season 8...

The afternoon was soundtracked by 1971, for no particular reason, followed, briefly, by 1970...

Late afternoon, I started to look at chart albums from 1981...

Very tasty crispy chicken salad from the EP for tea...

...as "Breaking Bad" continued.  Mr White is a very bad man...

Fang had been in since mid-afternoon, mostly post Dreamies snoozing but, now, contemplated exiting...

...which he did as we enjoyed "Holby City"...

Followed by "You've Been Scammed" or some such - 70-odd year old men believing a 30 year old glamour model wanted to come to the UK to marry them but somehow always got held up at the airport and had to be sent money to sort things out...

Funny, unbelievable, desperate and very, very sad indeed...

Back upstairs and completed the compilation of the 1981 list...

Talking of completion, I found it hard to believe that The Tubes' "Completion Backwards Principle" is excluded as it did not chart in the UK...

However, 15 albums which did, just "had" to be downloaded to fill gaps...

To be dealt with tomorrow...

To bed with a podcast from earlier this year on the cans...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Rediscovering music...
