Last view over the balcony...

...and the apartment left as we had found it...

Down the main shopping street of Malaga old town one last time...

...as the sun rose...

A 30 minute wait for the the airport bus - it was much colder than yesterday...

Checked in and through security with enough time for breakfast...

Out on to the tarmac just after 11, Spanish time...

...and into the air, heading home...

Approaching Edinburgh over Musselburgh with its race course...

..and the islands of the Forth...

...including Cramond Island...

A fairly quick passage out to the bus and a walk up the hill and home around 3pm our time...

Settling back in and then, in the evening out into town for the MBFives awards night...

I founded this ongoing five-a-sides game in 1982 with my workmates at the time and probably hundreds of guys - and some girls too - have passed through it over the last 36 years...

I was honoured tonight to be called "The Godfather"...

The awards, which have been featured in this diary in the past, mainly reflect some of the worst aspects of the games - worst striker, poorest tactician, biggest moaner etc etc

And so, here, the class of 2017/18...

At the start of the night, I only knew three of the attendees, having not played now for around five years...

By the end of the night, I knew quite a few more...

A good time was had, with your correspondent in responsible Diet Coke mode as the kitty, built up over the last year or so by charging players slightly more than the cost of the games, was well and truly plundered...

Home not too late after a very long day and, for once, not the worse for wear...

Today's artwork, "To the Airport"...

Highlight of the Day : Getting home...
