Up early and uploading the podcast and listening to music...

Breakfast at home, with this wee chum in the garden...

Mid morning, "Paddington" watched and very much enjoyed...

During several moments, I seemed to have something in my eye...

More wildlife...

Took Anne to Jane and Bob's for the Hearts fans to head to Tynecastle for today's 30 cup win against St Johnstone - no game for Queens...

Out to my mum's, where sister Sheila (doing nothing particularly exciting today for her birthday) and Senior were in attendance...

When they went shopping for mum, I got my guitar out and played her a few songs - the OOTB set from the other night, complete with pre song stories, one of which featured her good self; and covers by Bowie, Elvis and Lou Reed...

She seemed reasonably impressed...

Home and, post Anne also returning, Abbie and Blair arrived with wee Mia, ready for her week long stay at Crispycat Towers...

Here posing with the pic of the late lamented Tiger...

A tasty Chinese Takeaway and the double bill of Swedish series, "Modus", which was not too impressive really but we'll probably stick with it...

To bed, with a mad young cat careering around the house  and miaowing at the top of her voice...

Today's artwork, "Breakfast Scene"...

Highlight of the Day : New cat...
