Up early to finish off and post up the podcast...

Looked like it was going to be a scorcher...

Did I say I was up early?

And, of course, Tiger popped by...

Breakfast soundtracked by Vivaldi re-imagined by Max Richter...

Garden looking good, no thanks to me...

Anne wanted to go to Livingston to shop re her upcoming trip....

I drove her there, then headed on to Glasgow and Mixed Up for an hour or so...

I could have predicted they'd be playing the Can compilation...

I compiled it last night from all the recordings I already own and listened coincidentally earlier this morning...

And so, I kind of saved £10 which allowed me, after having had a CD fast for 10 days, to splash on some cheeky wee bargains...

Then, the drive back to pick Anne up - she had bought some things she likes - and home around 3:30...

This wee monkey had travelled through with us on my shirt...

Anne helped neighbour Gail in scraping paint off her garage door and in drinking pink gin...

I did some listening and ripping and then drove over to visit my mum - temperature? Over 80 degrees...

A wee walk - she's improving - but the infection is still not conquered after over three weeks...

Back home and the ladies had finished their work...

Some good chat then home for "Dr Who"...

Later on "Taskmaster" and Frankie Boyle entertained...

Your correspondent flaked out...

That was it...

To bed with 2017 acquisitions on shuffleplay - I only heard the first three songs...

Highlight of the Day : Mixed Up...

I see you've acquired the funky soul cd i recommended a couple of months ago. Mixed Up looks like a wee gem of a place. Hope your mom is home soon.

Yes indeed. Just a quid and well worth it. How weird that you and I each own one of just 500 copies?
