Up just after six...

...and catching up on stuff...

Decided to return "The Shelf" to the last 100 acquisitions - otherwise the discs I acquire just disappear into the collection - unless they are particularly good...

On the left, those remaining from the "top ten of the month" selection - on the right, the discs bought yesterday...

This was finished off later this afternoon...

For now though, out for breakfast, noting on the way we will shortly have home-grown potatoes...

A new to us place on the outskirts of Edinburgh at Riccarton...

Accompanied by the bees...

Then some choosing of new plants and helpful earth...

...accompanied by the bees...

Back home and here came Tiger for his visit...

Back to sorting the CDs plus a chat with neighbour Pietro - now in possession of two wee chums...

To the infirmary, mum doing no bad - advised her legs appear to be healing...

The infection is still there though...

To Jane and Bobby's for Bob's birthday BBQ...

Bob's family also in attendance...

...accompanied by the bees...

...and Rafa the Dog...

Bob likes his woodshed...

The skies were good...

...as was the barbecue - sadly the food remained unpictured...

Hats were in abundance...

A father in his daughter's eyes...

Kitty also reflected other attendees...

The birthday boy...

Let there be cake...

...and good skies...

...which Bob tried to capture...

He claimed the clouds were shaped like Rafa...

A blackbird sang...

Eventually, time to go - Olly's "new" room inspected...

...and the view admired - a beautiful night...

Bye to the gnome...

We took nephew Craig home, affording Anne's mum(and us) the opportunity to visit his new flat (no pics)...

Back home and The Shelf sorted...

...and next week's podcast selections listened to, while Anne watched Billy Connolly...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : The glorious weather...accompanied by the bees...

Hi Stu

We've been there a couple of times. Lovely wee place. The Riccarton place knocks the likes of Dobbies into a cocked hat!
