Up early, as lurgi were making it impossible to sleep...
"Working" on identifying further LPs I used to own, using another old list, which appears to have been up to date in 1988...
Still doing this by the time Anne got up and we breakfasted...
At 9:30, young Blair arrived to do some door handle replacement work...
Boyfriend of my step-niece-in-law, Abby, and a top notch joinery man...
I asked his advice re my CD collection and shelving - his solution was not condoned by the EP...
Oh well...
In the afternoon out to Roslin to Dr Prog's brother John's place for a first get together re possible collaboration...
Fittingly, on the the way, I passed this house...
It was once a church hall where, 40 years ago, I rehearsed with my band Rough Cut...
Good times at Johnny Weizen's...
Amazingly, we ran through 22 covers and 5 originals in the course of a couple of hours - having never before played together...
Also met John's lovely wife Moira and their 9 year old daughter, Chloe...
Top notch...
This on the way home...
Oops...
In the evening, another "Endeavour" entertained before I finished off my LP identification task...
All in all, a very good day...
Apart from the coughing and running nose...
Highlight of the day : Playing...
